Initial Behavior Consultation Call

Service Description

During the Behavior Consultation Call, we will be gathering a detailed history about your dog and discussing important concepts to help you better understand your dog's behavior. We will also review information about how dogs learn and providing you with tips on how to maximize success with training. Most importantly, we will work with you to develop an appropriate behavior modification and/or training plan and explain how to begin implementing the process right away. After the consultation call, you will receive a Consultation Summary write-up covering the details discussed during the call along with follow up resources recommended. We are happy to help and can cover topics such as: Loose-leash walking Recalls/coming when called Calm greetings with guests Obedience foundation skills Puppy potty training Puppy socializing safely and effectively Solutions for high energy and high drive dogs Preparing and testing for the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Test Training and preparing for therapy dog work Dog Agility training and/or trialing questions Other behavior-related questions or concerns We love helping those getting started with a new dog or puppy and specialize in helping those with high energy or high drive dogs.
